Step 1: Access Google Admin Console

  1. Go to admin.google.com
  2. Sign in with your Google Workspace administrator account
  3. If you're not an admin, you'll need to ask someone with admin privileges to complete these steps

Step 2: Navigate to Gmail Settings

  1. From the Admin console Home page, click Apps
  2. Click Google Workspace
  3. Click Gmail

Step 3: Access DKIM Authentication

  1. Click Authenticate email
  2. In the "Set up email authentication" section, locate DKIM authentication
  3. Click Generate new record (if you haven't set up DKIM before) or look for your existing domain

Step 4: Generate or View DKIM Record

  1. Select your domain from the dropdown menu
  2. Choose a selector prefix (you can use the default)
  3. Click Generate if creating a new record
  4. Google will display your DKIM record information

Step 5: Copy the DKIM Record Details
Please provide us with the following information:
Selector: (This will be something like "google._domainkey" or "yourprefix._domainkey")
TXT Record Value: (This is a long string that starts with "v=DKIM1" and contains your public key)
The format will look like this:
• Host/Name: [selector]._domainkey.yourdomain.com
• Value: v=DKIM1; k=rsa; p=[long string of characters]
Step 6: Send Us the Information
Please copy and paste both the selector name and the complete TXT record value and send them to us if we are managing this or setup in your DNS records.
Important Notes for Pathweaver Digital Clients
• Do NOT add this record to your DNS yet - we will handle the DNS configuration for you
• If you have multiple domains, you may need to repeat this process for each domain
• The DKIM record will remain in "Not authenticated" status in your Google Admin console until we complete the DNS setup
